If there’s one thing that everyone has really missed during quarantine, it’s been eating out - especially at our favourite small, local establishments. So when our favourite neighbourhood sandwich shop Lox + Schmear announced an online store, stocked with all the makings of our regular dine-in order, we jumped on it right away! We also got to talk to the shop’s owner and operator Lev Levine about what the transition has been like for them as a small business owner and their perspective on serving the community in a way that puts health and safety first.

The Lox + Schmear online store is online now and full of a variety of house-smoked salmons, Montreal-style bagels, cream cheeses, pickled items and sides, including some exceptional vegan and gluten-free options! Pick up is quick, easy and most importantly safe, every Sunday from 10am to 1pm at their St. Clair West location.
